The guitar is a symbol for something that relaxes me, it helps clear my head and focus. Over the summer I played a lot of guitar, especially while travelling or at Sunset Cliffs in the back of my car. The three drawings are all photos I took while on a trip with Jose to Yosemite. We drove 1500 miles in my almost-broken Subaru. We drove everywhere in it, slept in it, cooked out of it. We basically lived it it for a week. So that's why I chose to draw pictures from the trip with my car in it. Its connected to the guitar because I played a lot in it, but I also just really enjoy travelling and it represents a one of the best experiences of my life with my best friend.

I'm a rock climber, a cyclist, a snowboarder and a student. Through athletics I've learned the values of perseverance, patience and hard work. As a student, I learned the importance of structure and respect. All of those values are things that I apply to life.
